Established in 2002, SLS, the manufacturer of Norwela is based in Surat, Gujarat, India in a campus of 17000 square meters. The building is located in a natural environment, close to Tapi river front with discreet gardens and lawns covering the open areas.

The buildings have been organized in three major units; the corporate office, the research unit and the manufacturing unit. Our mission was and still is to explore and use cutting edge science, extensive research, and maintain the highest manufacturing standards. When you put these three in place, you are bound to get outstanding products that support health.

The manufacturing machineries are fully automated and fast, that produces 1200 capsules per minutes. Our QC team continuously monitors the manufacturing quality by measuring uniformity of powder filling and other high quality parameters. Manufacturing process, in fact is extensive and quite complex that requires painstaking commitment for excellence which we have, and that is one of the reasons why NORWELA products excel and are Best Quality Products.

To ensure that the formulas developed in NORWELA's laboratories are produced consistently, the same process is followed each time the manufacturing begins. 'The Food and Drug Controlling Authority' (FDCA) certified our manufacturing plant with current 'Good Manufacturing Practices' (cGMP) for herbal product manufacturing.

NORWELA, however, voluntarily follows the most stringent GMP for pharmaceuticals, as the base for its quality assurance program, which regulates virtually every aspect of manufacturing, including facility design and maintenance, raw material specification and control, supplier validation, product design and testing, and more. This is further ensured by our Quality and Food Safety Management System certificates like ISO 9001:2008, ISO 22000:2005 and HACCP. SLS is also registered with USFDA.
